CommonSpirit Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, implementing, and supporting information technology solutions to meet operational and clinical needs.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement information technology solutions to meet operational and clinical needs.
- Provide consultation for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Analyze, design, and make recommendations to improve existing systems and/or methods.
- Create thorough system design and build documentation.
- Collaborate with other analysts, staff, vendors, and leadership.
- Translate high-level business requirements to detailed technical designs/documentation.
- Lead large/complex projects or initiatives.
- Support/maintain day-to-day existing functionality/programs/applications.
- Coordinate all phases of a system optimization or upgrade project.
- Serve as a resource and advocate for assigned user group(s).
- Assist with a variety of related projects and staff education on an ad hoc basis.
- Provide solutions for application issues and complex support for trouble shooting difficult situations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 years of equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience working with systems analysis, programming, and design.
- EPIC Stork experience required.
- EPIC certification for the area in which you support (ClinDoc) is required or required within 4 months of employment.
- Ongoing maintenance of Epic certification(s) required.
- 5 years of additional relevant experience: application support, implementation, or development experience with applications in a hospital or medical-related industry.
- Demonstrated innovative and creative Epic solutions.
- Works at the highest technical level of all phases of applications, systems analysis, and programming activities.
- Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication.
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations required.
