This is a full-time salaried position with an estimated annual compensation of $72,000 in Tampa, Florida. As an Environmental Operations Supervisor at Eurofins GSC Poland Sp. z o. o., you will oversee field sampling activities and manage teams to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and Coordinate Field Activities: Plan and execute field sampling schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train field sampling technicians to adhere to established protocols and safety procedures, promoting professional development and growth within the team.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of field sampling equipment to guarantee accurate results and prevent any operational disruptions.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage and replenish sampling supplies as needed, minimizing delays and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Customer Communication: Liaise with clients to schedule sampling events and address any concerns or issues related to field activities.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that all field sampling activities meet quality control requirements and industry standards.
  • Project Management: Work closely with project managers to align field activities with project objectives and timelines.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle are required.
  • At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience and 3 years of environmental field sampling experience, including operating and maintaining equipment, are preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of environmental sampling methodologies and protocols, quality control, and quality assurance principles is essential.
