About the Role

As a Retail Store Operations Supervisor at Ross Dress for Less, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our stores. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the store, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and motivate a team of non-exempt associates to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers have an engaging and satisfying shopping experience.
  • Sales and Merchandise Management: Drive sales growth by implementing effective visual merchandising strategies, managing inventory levels, and optimizing stockroom operations.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe and clean store environment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience: 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably as an Assistant Store Manager or similar role.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions to drive business results.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
What We Offer
