About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Accountant to join our site accounting team in Bellefontaine, Ohio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions and will report to the Site Controller.

Responsibilities
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting: Prepare and support month-end and year-end activity, including general ledger and journal entries, and financial reporting.
  • ERP System Management: Make updates and changes to standard cost in the ERP system and complete ad hoc, cost, spending, and analysis reports within the ERP system and Power BI.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory tasks, including reconciliation, and complete internal and/or external audits.
  • Daily Accounting Tasks: Support daily accounting tasks, including coding for invoicing, and partner with others to help complete the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Process Improvement: Work on streamlining accounting functions for the department and become cross-trained in other accounting duties to support the team.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum of an Associate's degree; a Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
  • Experience: At least two years of similar experience in a manufacturing accounting role, with experience supporting the month-end and year-end accounting process.
  • Skills: Financial analysis experience, ERP experience, and Microsoft Office skills, specifically strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP function.
