Job Title: Enterprise System Cloud Architect

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise System Cloud Architect to join our team in Washington, DC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud computing transitions for legacy systems, developing and testing next-generation systems in the cArmy cloud environment, and ensuring the security and compliance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud computing transitions for legacy systems
  • Develop, test, and implement next-generation systems in the cArmy cloud environment
  • Ensure systems are secure and compliant with ATO and ATC requirements
  • Implement improvements for speed and usability requirements for searching and indexing a 100+ million document repository
  • Lead efforts to leverage emerging technologies, including Data Lake, mesh networking, AI, and ML, to enhance indexing, metadata tagging, administration, management, security, search, access, and usability of the data
Requirements:
  • Current active Secret Security Clearance
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in IT or enterprise architecture-related roles
  • Strong background in computer operating systems, programming languages, networking, and security
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and solutions, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, cArmy Cloud, lambda functions, and serverless code
Working Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment with a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations, and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
