Position Overview:
The Banquet Server plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service throughout various events, ensuring that guests experience the highest level of satisfaction. The following outlines the essential responsibilities and qualifications for this position:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend and execute Banquet Event Orders accurately.
  • Skillfully carry multiple entrees per tray, ensuring efficient service.
  • Deliver fine dining food and beverage service in accordance with established standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, anticipating their needs.
  • Set up and maintain food and beverage stations in alignment with service standards.
  • Oversee inventory management for food and beverage supplies.
  • Keep event areas and front-of-house staging organized and tidy.
  • Assist in both the setup and breakdown of food and beverage service items.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently during quieter periods.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Interact regularly with staff and patrons, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Adapt to a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Exhibit attention to detail to ensure accuracy in service.
  • Handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Lift and move objects safely, adhering to physical demands.
  • Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Address simple inquiries or complaints from guests professionally.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
  • At least one year of experience in events, banquets, or restaurant settings preferred.
  • Must be at least eighteen years old to serve alcoholic beverages.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands for this role include the ability to stand for extended periods, move throughout the venue, and perform tasks that require bending, stretching, and lifting objects up to 30 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
