Position Overview
A prestigious law firm offering competitive compensation at the Cravath level is seeking a skilled IP Litigation Associate. This firm is recognized as a leader in the fields of Emerging Companies and Venture Capital.

Firm Recognition:
Ranked by Fortune Magazine as one of the best workplaces in the United States and featured on the American Lawyer's "A List." The firm is actively involved in proceedings at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).

Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess experience in ANDA and/or other life sciences patent litigation. Responsibilities include:
  • Engaging in court appearances and depositions.
  • Direct communication with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Creative problem-solving and teamwork.
  • Active participation in strategic case development.

Desired Qualifications:
Applicants should have substantial patent litigation experience in U.S. District Courts and before the PTAB, including:
  • Conducting case analyses and legal research.
  • Drafting pleadings and participating in discovery.
  • Researching and drafting motions and claim construction briefs.
  • Involvement in pre-trial and trial activities.

Preferred Background:
Successful candidates will ideally have:
  1. An undergraduate or master's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related life sciences field.
  2. Experience within the Intellectual Property department of a comparable law firm.
  3. A strong academic record from an accredited law school.
