General Manager

We are seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our distribution and sales support teams in the region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring our company's strategic goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Strategies: Formulate and execute strategies to achieve business objectives, collaborating with the executive team to set company performance targets and KPIs.
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient use of budgets, resources, and personnel, and lead, mentor, and develop a team of employees to meet operational goals.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners, fostering a customer-centric culture to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Compliance: Ensure regional operations comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze data and performance metrics to make informed business decisions, continuously evaluating and improving operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Direct leadership over 3-4 team members and indirect leadership over a team of 4-8 people, partnering closely with Regional Sales Managers to align operational and sales strategies.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, monitoring financial performance and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in a general management role, preferably within the stone surfaces or related industry.
- Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Communication and Relationship-Building: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Business Compliance: Thorough understanding of business compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Acumen: Financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial reporting.
- Business Software Proficiency: Proficiency in using business software and tools for data analysis, reporting, and communication.
