School Psychology Specialist

We are seeking skilled and passionate School Psychologists to work in Dallas, TX school-based settings with students of various ages and possessing diverse learning needs. As a key member of our team at TX-STAR Speech Language Services, you will be responsible for administering assessments and evaluating students to determine eligibility for special education services.
Job Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students to determine eligibility for special education services.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Assist in providing needed services through consultation, assessments, counseling, problem-solving, and educational strategies for students qualifying for special education services.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to ensure appropriate educational services for students such as classroom intervention plans.
- Conduct re-evaluations of students as required by federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, evaluations, and IEPs in accordance with ISD and state regulations.
- Participate in meetings with parents and other stakeholders to discuss assessment results and IEPs.
- A Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field is required.
- Valid Texas certification as a School Psychologist is essential.
- At least one year of experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting is necessary.
- Experience administering and interpreting a variety of assessment tools, including cognitive and academic assessments.
- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations regarding special education services and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other school staff.

Our estimated salary range is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
Bilingual language skills in English and Spanish are highly preferred. Reliable transportation and the willingness to travel to multiple school locations as needed are also required.
