Key Responsibilities- Greets and Directs Patients: Greet patients and visitors, instruct them on the check-in process, and direct them to the appropriate area.
- Performs Administrative Duties: Performs a variety of clerical duties, including retrieving insurance and patient information, providing forms for tests or interoffice communications, and securing signatures as needed.
- Manages Schedules: Monitors and revises physician schedules as appropriate to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- Handles Patient Care Activities: Performs patient care activities within the scope of data entry/processing and patient account functions, including establishing payment plans and collecting payments.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: One year experience in a medical office setting preferred.
