Senior Drafter Opportunity

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Drafter to join a shipbuilding company in Marinette, Wisconsin. As a key member of the detail design team, you will be responsible for creating accurate 2D and 3D models of ship structures using AutoCAD and Ship Constructor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop 2D and 3D models of ship structures, including ceilings and stiffener plates
  • Assist with drawing revisions and updates
  • Extract 3D models to 2D for manufacturing
  • Collaborate with the detail design team to update models and issue changes

Requirements:

  • Experience with Navis, MS Excel, and Bluebeam/Power PDF
  • Structural base experience within the shipbuilding/ship-work space
  • Associate degree in a related field or 10 years of experience in a relevant industry
