About the Role:
Access Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate professionals to join our In Home Supports team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to adults with developmental disabilities and Autism, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with developmental intellectual disabilities in their daily lives, providing creative support through various tasks, activities, and community engagement.
- Provide direct services to individuals in their own homes or in their natural family homes, adhering to their individualized plans of care.
- Maintain accurate case notes for the individuals served, ensuring timely and effective support.
- Engage in regular supervision, training, and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Meet all qualifying and ongoing job criteria, including background checks, physical examination results, and clearances.
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle during work hours.
- Be listed as a driver on a valid auto insurance policy.
