Job Title: Patient Service Representative Lead

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the supervisor in leading a team of Patient Service Representatives.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with the clinical care team to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients, answering calls, and processing registrations.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, pre-authorizing procedures, and collecting copays and other payments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with health system policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient satisfaction and experience.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in ambulatory or patient registration, or one year combined with an associate's degree.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Clerical, registration, and/or customer service experience within a healthcare setting.
Language Skills:
  • Fluent English, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
