Position Overview

The Senior Vice President of IT Strategy will be instrumental in defining and implementing the technological vision for our rapidly expanding organization. This executive will utilize cutting-edge IT solutions to optimize operations, enhance productivity, and ensure regulatory compliance. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, this role is a key player in our Senior Leadership Team.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Direction:

  • Collaborate with fellow executives to ensure IT projects align with business goals.
  • Articulate a comprehensive IT vision and strategic roadmap.

Team Development:

  • Recruit and nurture high-performing IT teams.
  • Encourage a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Provide mentorship and growth opportunities for team members.

Technology Innovation:

  • Leverage advanced technologies to foster innovation across the organization.
  • Possess expertise in scalability, data management, and operational technologies.

ERP Strategy:

  • Assess current ERP systems and propose enhancements.
  • Drive standardization across various business units.
  • Oversee the implementation of ERP solutions, ensuring minimal disruption.

Cybersecurity Leadership:

  • Develop and implement robust cybersecurity protocols.
  • Safeguard sensitive information and mitigate potential risks.

Enterprise Architecture:

  • Establish and uphold the company's technology framework.
  • Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and adaptable.

Process Automation:

  • Identify and implement opportunities for workflow automation.
  • Enhance operational efficiency through streamlined processes.

Cloud Strategy:

  • Evaluate and implement cloud solutions to optimize performance and cost.

Compliance Management:

  • Establish IT controls to adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal audit teams for compliance assurance.

Integration Leadership:

  • Lead IT integration during mergers and acquisitions.
  • Facilitate seamless transitions of technology systems.

Digital Transformation:

  • Design initiatives for digital transformation in upcoming years.
  • Expand our digital capabilities to support PCI-Bridge.
  • Explore the application of Open AI technologies across various functions.

Global IT Management:

  • Oversee systems management and IT support across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior IT leadership role within a mid to large-sized public company.
  • Strong grasp of the pharmaceutical industry landscape.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Capability to blend strategic vision with practical execution.

Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
