Job Title: Lead Seafood Clerk

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Seafood Clerk to oversee the seafood department at Times Supermarkets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality seafood products are displayed and prepared for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train seafood department associates to ensure excellent customer service and quality product preparation.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to maintain freshness and quality of seafood products.
  • Prepare and display seafood products according to company standards and visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Process invoices, department reports, and employee appraisals in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a seafood department or related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of seafood products, preparation methods, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
