As a Crew Chief, you'll play a vital role in our management team, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and working closely with the General Manager to drive sales and growth.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the General Manager to drive revenue growth and improve guest satisfaction
  • Coaching and executing excellent customer service
  • Setting a positive example as a leader and building team engagement and efficiency
  • Developing teammates through our internal training program and providing ongoing guidance and direction
  • Ensuring quality control measures and processes are followed consistently
  • Assisting the General Manager with budgeting, sales forecasts, and financial performance
  • Providing clear and detailed direction to the team
  • Ensuring the service center is clean, safe, and presentable
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to automotive technicians and CSA's
  • Performing opening and closing duties when the General Manager is off
  • Assisting the General Manager in building and maintaining an engaged workforce
  • Leading daily team huddles and store meetings
  • Managing inventory and product orders
  • Adhering to and enforcing all rules and regulations to maintain a safe and productive work environment
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • One to three years of retail management experience
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • A proven track record of leadership and the ability to inspire and motivate diverse groups of people
  • Sound business sense and a comprehensive understanding of the retail industry
  • The ability to analyze and comprehend financial objectives and recommend strategies to increase sales and service results
  • A positive, helpful attitude and professional conduct and appearance
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible, high-performance retail environment
  • A 'Guest First' mindset

You'll also need to be able to:

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Stand on your feet for long periods on hard surfaces
  • Work in an environment with hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes
  • Lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds
