Job Responsibilities:
The Surgical Technician plays a vital role in the operating room, assisting with patient care and functioning as an integral member of the surgical team. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting nursing staff in delivering patient care during surgical procedures.
  • Preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
  • Assisting with the setup of surgical instruments and equipment.

Qualifications:
  1. Education: Completion of a Surgical Technology program from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  2. Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized provider.
  3. Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
