Position Details:
Compensation: $16.33 per hour ($17.14 for bilingual candidates, English/Spanish)

Our Head Start initiative offers complimentary preschool education to children aged three to five in a supportive learning atmosphere, where parents are recognized as vital contributors to their children's education. We emphasize a holistic approach, addressing the educational, health, family, and social needs of each child. The Classroom Aide plays a crucial role in assisting teachers with classroom preparation, managing meal times, and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for our young learners.

  • Work schedule: 32 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday, with some flexibility available during business hours.

Qualifications:

Additionally, candidates must hold and maintain a valid Oregon driver's license, Food Handlers Certification, First Aid and CPR certification, TB/Tuberculin test results, health verification documentation, and be enrolled in the Oregon Child Care Division Criminal History Registry.
