About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Advantage Dental. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our dentists and hygienists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide chair-side clinical support to doctors and hygienists, including charting, patient education, and operatory setup and cleanup.
  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience at all phases of their appointment, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience.
  • Take and process X-rays as prescribed by the dentist, maintaining accurate records and files.
  • Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files at the direction of the dentist, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories, upholding the highest standards of infection control and safety.
  • Educate patients on the importance of their oral health, promoting prevention and wellness.
  • Work collaboratively with the team on all areas of the practice, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Completion of a dental assisting program or enrollment in our internal training program.
  • Radiology certification required.
  • Dental assisting experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software such as Dentrix, Eagle Soft, or Dental Vision.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
