  • Develop and implement effective production schedules, inventory management systems, and staff training programs to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of culinary operations, including menu planning, food purchasing, and inventory control.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • 6 months of related experience and/or training in food service operations, preferably in a high-volume, complex foodservice environment.
  • Expert knowledge of food and catering trends, including quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Creativity and plate presentation skills, with the ability to develop innovative and visually appealing menu items.
  • High volume, complex foodservice operations experience, preferably in a hospital or upscale senior living community setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, and the Internet.
  • ServSafe certification or food handlers card.
  • Ability to successfully complete criminal background checks (State and Federal) and drug screenings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Dedicated and committed to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.
