About the Role

As a Community Mental Health Liaison with Bright Harbor Healthcare, you will play a vital part in our mission to improve mental health outcomes and reduce police contacts. This role requires collaboration with law enforcement agencies to identify individuals with unmet mental health needs and provide timely interventions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong relationships with participating law enforcement agencies to ensure seamless referrals and coordination of services.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and develop personalized case management plans to support individuals with complex needs.
  • Participate in data collection and analysis to inform program development and improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
  • Collaborate with other program staff to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Represent the organization at community meetings and events to promote our mission and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Experience working with substance abuse and mental health populations.
  • Proficient in computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with law enforcement practices and procedures.
