Human Resources Generalist at RWJBarnabas Health

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. In this role, you will provide operational and consultative human resources services to staff and management, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and compensation for assigned departments. Your primary focus will be on establishing and maintaining effective partnering relationships with departments to ensure their goals and objectives related to human resources are achieved.
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will assist in delivering human resources services to all customers, including human resources staff. This will involve completing required reporting and overseeing onsite programs as applicable, as well as assisting on special projects as needed. You will work closely with department leadership and employees to serve as a liaison between these primary customers and the Human Resources Department for all HR needs, providing expert advice and guidance when necessary.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Business, or the Behavioral Science field. Prior experience as an HR Business Partner is essential, as well as a working knowledge of HRIS and talent management systems. You must possess excellent organizational, communication, time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make independent judgments when appropriate. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a generalist-level role is preferred.

Based on industry standards and location, we estimate the salary for this role to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year.
