Job Summary:
As a Pharmacy Manager at Walgreens, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of pharmacists and technicians to deliver high-quality pharmacy services. You will be the face of our pharmacy, ensuring that patients receive empathetic and personalized care, and that our pharmacy operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management, immunizations, and diagnostic testing.
- Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and technicians, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures.
- Manage pharmacy operations, including inventory management, workflow optimization, and customer service.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to promote health and wellness initiatives.
Requirements:
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance billing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience planning, organizing, and directing the work of pharmacy staff.
- At least 6 months pharmacy experience with Walgreen Co.
