We are currently in search of a proficient and knowledgeable Coil Feed Press Machine Operator. In this role, you will be tasked with the setup, operation, and maintenance of coil feed press machinery to manufacture high-quality stamped metal components that adhere to specified requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and configure the coil feed press machine for production cycles.
  2. Load coil materials onto the machine, ensuring accurate alignment.
  3. Modify machine parameters, including speed, feed rate, and pressure, to achieve optimal output.
  4. Supervise the machine during production to confirm proper functionality and identify any issues or defects.
  5. Conduct routine quality assessments of produced components to ensure compliance with specifications and uphold quality standards.
  6. Implement necessary adjustments to machine settings or tooling to rectify any discrepancies.
  7. Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of the machinery to guarantee peak performance.
  8. Diagnose and resolve any mechanical or operational challenges that may occur during production.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a tidy and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Prior experience operating coil feed press machinery in a manufacturing setting.
  3. Strong mechanical skills and comprehension of machine operations.
  4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  5. Familiarity with tooling setup and adjustments.
  6. Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical problems.
  7. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  8. Effective organizational and time management abilities.
  9. Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  10. Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime as required.
  11. Proficient in using micrometers and calipers.
