Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement skilled physical therapy treatment plans based on physician directives and thorough evaluations of patient assessments and test results.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations regarding the supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants to uphold the highest standards of care.
- Facilitate the continuation of therapeutic plans post-discharge by creating home exercise regimens, instructing patients, and recommending assistive devices and follow-up programs.
- Accurately document and maintain clinical and administrative records concerning patient progress, treatment interventions, and discharge summaries.
- Safeguard patient confidentiality at all times.
- Record treatment charges daily and ensure timely and precise documentation.
- Adhere to the applicable State Physical Therapy Practice Act, codes, and regulations.
Additional Duties:
- Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent or emergent situations as per established protocols.
- Maintain a clean work environment and treatment areas, and request necessary supplies.
- Exhibit professional appearance and conduct consistently.
- Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.
- Foster effective working relationships with colleagues and other professionals to ensure collaborative patient care.
- Maintain regular clinic hours as approved by management.
- Coordinate all patient scheduling through the front desk.
- Participate in meetings as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Possession of a current State Physical Therapist license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Commitment to prioritizing the best interests of clients and their families.
- Collaborative mindset.
