About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EH&S Coordinator to join our team at Pactiv Evergreen. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our workplace operations comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform safety-related administrative tasks, including compliant program recordkeeping, equipment procurement, and responding to inquiries.
  • Develop, evaluate, and maintain effective health/safety policy and procedures to comply with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Administer facility environmental activities, including scheduling, tracking, reporting, planning, sampling, and regulatory permitting for environmental assessments and investigations.
  • Conduct routine audits and inspections of environmental procedures and controls, recommending corrective action to maintain safety and effectiveness.
  • Maintain effective documentation and relationships with regulatory agencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Certification a plus (CIH, CSP, and/or CHP).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Process Safety Management, Title V, NPDES, and (SWPP) Storm Water Pollution Programs, Hazardous Waste CAL-OSHA standards in Title 8.
  • Able to work flexible hours and be available on call before or after normal business hours.
