Job Overview

As a Laborer - Household Items, you will be responsible for assisting the driver with route preparation, navigating routes, loading, unloading, and assembling household items at customer locations and storage warehouses.


Key Responsibilities
  • Navigate drivers to locations, including getting out of the truck to assist with maneuvering around obstacles.
  • Notify customers of expected arrival times via telephone.
  • Maintain 5S standards in dock areas, including exterior truck wells.
  • Load and unload items securely and safely, ensuring no damage occurs.
  • Assemble items at customer locations as required.
  • Assist drivers with notifying the office of PO/PB results and notify dock supervisors of rejected merchandise.
  • Complete paperwork daily as needed.
  • Frequently fill in as drivers when licensed and authorized.

Requirements
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record are necessary.
  • The ability to obtain a Class C driver endorsement is essential.

Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
