We are seeking a skilled Logistics Assistance Technician to join our team at 1-800 WATER DAMAGE of Western Montana. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing logistical support to our drivers, including route preparation, navigation, and the loading/unloading of household items at customer locations and storage facilities.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and physically demanding role that requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. As a Logistics Assistance Technician, you will work closely with our drivers to ensure seamless and efficient delivery of our services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Navigate drivers to locations, taking into account potential hazards.
  • Notify customers of estimated arrival times via phone calls.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace by adhering to 5S principles.
  • Ensure items are loaded and unloaded safely and securely.
  • Coordinate with drivers to assemble items at customer locations, if required.
  • Communicate with the office regarding PO/PB results and notify dock supervisors of rejected merchandise.
  • Occasionally fulfill responsibilities as a driver when necessary, provided the individual holds the relevant license.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Age: 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record essential.
  • Ability to obtain a Class C driver endorsement.
  • Excellent customer service skills and effective communication.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and climbing.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 per annum
