Guy M. Turner, Inc. is seeking an experienced dispatcher to join their Crane Department. This role is responsible for coordinating the efficient deployment of company equipment and personnel to meet customer needs and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Dispatch crane operators and drivers to perform jobs, ensuring timely and safe execution.
- Receive and respond to customer inquiries regarding crane sizing, scheduling, and booking.
- Coordinate the scheduling of cranes, trucks, trailers, and equipment to optimize resource utilization.
- Acquire and obtain necessary permits and routes for equipment movement.
- Act as a liaison between customers, operators, crews, operations, and management to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Previous dispatch experience is essential for this role.
- An associate's degree or relevant work experience is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are necessary to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Professionalism, courtesy, and cooperation are expected when interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and excellent time management skills are crucial for success in this position.
