Key Responsibilities:
Engage primarily in activities that assist in the development of geotechnical documentation, including evaluations and suggestions made in conjunction with experienced personnel.
Oversee construction materials testing (CMT) initiatives, ensuring daily report assessments, aiding in issue resolution, and providing training for field personnel on assigned projects.
Administer project financials for both geotechnical and CMT assignments and generate billing statements.
Additional responsibilities may encompass assisting with or executing the following under guidance:
- Conduct boring and test pit layouts while assessing site accessibility.
- Prepare drilling documentation and secure utility clearances.
- Investigate local geological backgrounds.
- Supervise field operations carried out by drilling/test pit teams and assist with rig access challenges.
- Execute in-situ testing.
- Potentially carry out specialized geotechnical field assessments.
- Classify soil types and designate laboratory testing.
- Aid in the formulation of proposals for both geotechnical and CMT projects for training and development purposes.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field is essential.
No prior experience is necessary.
While a professional license is not a requirement for this role, it is important for career advancement.
If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is mandatory.
