We are seeking a skilled Seafood Product Specialist to join our team at Whole Foods Market. In this role, you will be responsible for managing seafood products, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for natural foods. As a Seafood Product Specialist, you will be working closely with our customers, vendors, and team members to ensure seamless product flow and exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage seafood products from ordering to stockroom organization.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and special orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and report any discrepancies.
  • Ensure all products are properly stored, displayed, and maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Participate in visual merchandising to promote sales and drive business growth.
  • Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and food handling guidelines.
  • Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of seafood products and handling procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure includes base pay, benefits, and other compensation packages.
