Job Summary

Buffalo Rock is seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to join our Corporate Maintenance Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support by repairing and maintaining machinery and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain machinery and electrical equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate connections for equipment.
  • Perform work at height with proper fall protection PPE.
  • Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
  • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
  • Start devices to test their performance.
  • Lubricate and clean parts.
  • May initiate purchase requests for parts and machines.
  • Observe operation of equipment to determine if problems with equipment or operator.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • At least three (3) Years of Manufacturing Maintenance Experience required.
  • At least one (1) year of Industrial Electrician Experience required.
  • Multi-Craft Industrial Experience preferred.
  • PLC Experience preferred.
Work Environment

Working conditions will be inside and outside where temperatures will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold, working in rain or snow, all for extended periods.
