Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Engineering Project Manager to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our Northwest Pacific Water Team, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical assistance and guidance on water supply, drinking water treatment, transmission, distribution, pumping, and wastewater conveyance and treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on water resources engineering projects, including design, development, and implementation of processes, infrastructure, and operating strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute mid-level projects, including project budgets, tracking hours and expenses, and task completion.
  • Develop and implement site Health and Safety Plans (HASPs) and ensure compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations, including data and visualizations, to communicate research findings and recommendations.
  • Interact with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients in a confident and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a focus in Water/Wastewater or closely related discipline.
  • 7+ years of relevant post-education experience in water/wastewater engineering.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
  • Proficient knowledge of water/wastewater engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to environmental permitting and project work-related issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Engineering.
  • 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR preferred).
  • Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training desired.
