Optometrist - Vision Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Optometrist to join our Vision Center team at Walmart. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and vision services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based vision care to patients, including prescribing medications and recommending treatment options.
- Deliver routine vision care using evidence-based care guidelines.
- Educate patients and store associates on eye health, including contact lens care and disease state management.
- Consult with other health professionals to prepare patient care plans.
- Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
- Licensed optometrist in good standing in the state of practice.
- EMR/EHR experience.
- Eagerness to embrace new equipment technology and advanced instrumentation.
- Experience in treating and managing ocular disease.
