Optometrist Position

Walmart is seeking a highly skilled Optometrist to join our team. As an Associate Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional vision care to our patients, working closely with our Vision Center Manager to achieve our mission of advancing eyecare affordably for everyone.

• Provide evidence-based vision care, recommending and prescribing medications and treatment options as needed.
• Deliver routine vision care using evidence-based care guidelines, educating patients and store associates on eye health and safety factors.
• Consult with other health professionals to prepare patient care plans, observing optometry scope of practice per state board.
• Embrace new equipment technology and advanced instrumentation, staying current on changes in optical procedures and sharing information with associates and managers.

• Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
• Licensed optometrist in good standing in the state of practice.
• EMR/EHR experience.
• Eagerness to embrace new equipment technology and advanced instrumentation.
• Experience in treating and managing ocular disease.

As a Walmart Associate Optometrist, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $100,000.00-$200,000.00, plus annual or quarterly performance bonuses. You will also receive PTO and/or PPTO that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes.
