Position Overview
The Membership Experience Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering a seamless and enriching experience for YMCA members, starting from their initial interaction with the organization to their ongoing engagement. This individual embodies the YMCA's core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, while actively applying the Member Engagement Principles of welcoming, connecting, supporting, and inviting during all interactions with members and guests. They are responsible for linking YMCA members with available resources, whether virtually or in-person, and are expected to possess a comprehensive understanding of the facility, programs, and activities offered by the YMCA. Providing exceptional service and information to members while ensuring a safe environment is paramount.
Compensation
Salary range: $18.50 to $22.00 per hour
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability on weekdays and/or weekends
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings
- Minimum of 6 months experience in customer service
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Office 365
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including phone etiquette
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid approved by the YMCA
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Salesforce
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish, Cantonese, and/or Mandarin
