Job Summary
The University of Vermont Health Network seeks a skilled Per Diem Echocardiographer to perform a variety of highly technical cardiac ultrasonographic procedures. As a key member of the Cardiology team, you will apply non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves to support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need an Associate Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent education/experience in a related health care field. RDCS registry is preferred, and BLS Training is required. A minimum of 1 year experience in cardiac ultrasound is also necessary.
Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of the Director of Cardiology, you will perform a range of cardiac ultrasonographic procedures, including echocardiograms and other related tests. You will work within the scope of practice of Cardiology Services and adhere to hospital policy and procedures. Your role will also involve supporting the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the hospital.
