Scope of Work
As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide essential care to patients following established care plans, unit protocols, and hospital policies under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include:

  • Safely transporting patients using wheelchairs or stretchers, ensuring appropriate documentation of services.
  • Serving as an Observer for patients requiring constant monitoring, either in-person or through remote video systems, to enhance patient safety.
  • Performing general clerical and receptionist duties to support the efficient operation of the nursing unit.
  • Documenting care provided in the electronic medical record system.

Qualifications
