We are seeking experienced Electrical Construction Team Leaders with a background in commercial and industrial electrical projects. The role involves overseeing the installation, modification, enhancement, and maintenance of electrical systems, conductors, and related materials and equipment, along with supervising personnel and adhering to project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to strategize work plans and schedules.
- Provide on-site leadership and guidance to electrical teams.
- Implement and oversee safety protocols on the job site.
- Mentor, train, and assess the performance of crew members.
- Create detailed schematics as necessary.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely project progression.
- Supervise and execute electrical tasks.
- Inspect installations for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with safety and code standards.
- Facilitate the timely procurement and delivery of required materials.
- Maintain tools and equipment through regular upkeep and proper storage.
- Generate and communicate daily progress reports.
- Monitor and uphold production targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the electrical field, leading large-scale commercial and industrial projects.
- Proven experience managing teams of 10 or more electricians.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- A strong commitment to job-site safety is required.
- Active Texas Journeyman License is mandatory.
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Excel, Word, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are advantageous.
- Familiarity with Accubid or similar estimating software is preferred but not essential.
- Exceptional customer service skills are necessary.
- Willingness to travel is preferred.
Employment with Cummings Electric is contingent upon a background check and drug screening; candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and demonstrated skill level.
