Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform nursing procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Administer medications and injections, maintaining accurate records and adhering to established protocols.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team, facilitating timely interventions and improving patient outcomes.
  • Assist with patient assessments and care planning, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans.
  • Provide wound care and dressing changes, promoting healing and preventing complications.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatments, empowering them to take an active role in their care.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience in sterile processing and knowledge of ophthalmology procedures.
  • Ability to lift and move patients when necessary, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Previous experience in clinic or urgent care settings, with proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and catheterization procedures.
  • Familiarity with long-term care practices and competence in using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BLS Certification and LVN licensure, with LPN licensure preferred.

Work Environment

This is a contract position, with a competitive weekly rate of $1, $2,000.00. The ideal candidate will be able to commute to Everett, WA, and may be required to relocate to the area before starting work.
