We are seeking a skilled Road Equipment Technician to join our team at Delta Materials Handling, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and providing exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair gas, propane, diesel, and electric powered lift trucks and related equipment
- Interact with customers to relay problems and solutions
- Write work orders clearly and accurately
- Maintain inventory of assigned warehouse
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Order and follow up on needed parts
- Log correct travel time and work time to work orders
- Follow up daily on all work in process
- Follow all customer and Delta Materials Handling, Inc. safety rules and regulations
- Drive in a safe and courteous manner following all traffic laws
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years' experience as a maintenance technician, apprentice, or equivalent
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to use and understand measuring tools
- Technical aptitude and positive attitude
- Clean driving record
