Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Road Equipment Technician to join our team at Delta Materials Handling, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair gas, propane, diesel, and electric powered lift trucks and related equipment
  • Interact with customers to relay problems and solutions
  • Write work orders clearly and accurately
  • Maintain inventory of assigned warehouse
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Order and follow up on needed parts
  • Log correct travel time and work time to work orders
  • Follow up daily on all work in process
  • Follow all customer and Delta Materials Handling, Inc. safety rules and regulations
  • Drive in a safe and courteous manner following all traffic laws
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years' experience as a maintenance technician, apprentice, or equivalent
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to use and understand measuring tools
  • Technical aptitude and positive attitude
  • Clean driving record
