Job Summary

This is a critical role within the HITACHI GLOBAL AIR POWER US, LLC team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory management system. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cycle counting duties to verify inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Assist warehouse personnel in locating materials and updating quantities, locations, and weights in the SAP system.
  • Analyze cycle counts for variances and research inventory discrepancies to submit accurate reports.
  • Develop solutions for inventory issues and implement process improvements.
  • Log discrepancies as turn backs and maintain accurate records.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including a Drexel and Forklift, to efficiently manage inventory.
  • Assist with annual physical inventory and complete transactions associated with inventory control.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as needed, including receiving, stocking, and shipping.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • General computer skills, with proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to develop and analyze inventory reports.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, including attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to identify parts from drawings and communicate effectively with other departments.
  • Must successfully complete DOT HAZMAT training and Drexel and Forklift training.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
