Library Director

Centerville-Center Township Public Library is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Library Director to lead our team. As the chief administrator of the library, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing public library services that meet the needs of our community.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the library's goals and objectives
• Manage the library's budget and finances, including preparing annual budgets and reports
• Supervise and evaluate library staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders
• Oversee the collection development and maintenance of the library's materials
• Ensure compliance with library policies, procedures, and laws
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in library management

• Masters degree in Library Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in library management or related field
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of library software and technology
