Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct the work assignments of team members to ensure the quality and output of production
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve overall manufacturing performance
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide coaching and feedback to team members
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production volume, quality, and cycle time
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on leadership and team management
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity, with a proven track record of improving productivity and quality
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
