We are Guided Insurance Solutions, a Baldwin Group Company, and we're looking for a talented Insurance Advisor to join our team. As an Insurance Advisor, you will be responsible for selling Personal Lines of Insurance with 17 carriers and over 30 states. You will work under close supervision to close targeted sales from leads, prospects, and policyholders to achieve auto, property, and specialty sales targets in a sales center environment.

Requirements:

  • Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to leads, consult with customers on their insurance needs, and match the correct coverages, products, and benefits to convert leads into customers
  • Assesses customer's insurance needs and suggests/advise products and coverage's based on a need/exposure assessment
  • Finalizes the sale, coordinates collection of deposits, arranges for binders and certificates, and briefs the service team on the policy sale
  • Maintains a concern for accuracy, timeliness, and completion when interacting with current and prospective clients
  • Maintains understanding and knowledge of insurance and underwriting criteria for insurance company partners represented by the firm to effectively communicate to all involved

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • We will consider a variety of experiences to include current licensed agents, restaurant, car sales, phone sales, or any customer-facing position that requires strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable making calls and talking to people on the phone all day
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented
