Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Care Provider for home health services.
Job Overview:
We are committed to providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. As a Registered Nurse with Aveanna, you will have the opportunity to work with patients who require skilled nursing care, including those with chronic illnesses, injuries, or disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
- Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate.
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
- Develop, implement, and update the nursing care plan.
- Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.
- Recognize changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention and implement care to prevent risk or reduce risk.
- Accept responsibility for personal and professional accountability by complying with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect both staff and patient according to OSHA standards.
- Educate the patient and family regarding the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, and in meeting the patient's nursing needs.
- Maintain knowledge of competencies related to the nursing profession by participating in educational programs, continued education units, internal learning management skills, and skill evaluations.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Estimated Salary: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on location and experience. Please note that this is an estimate and may vary based on individual circumstances. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages to ensure our caregivers feel valued and supported throughout their careers.
