Medical Claims Specialist

The Medical Claims Specialist at CommonSpirit Health plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely billing of medical services. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for researching insurance eligibility, completing necessary paperwork, and submitting clinical notes to ensure approval of claims.
Salary & BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) matching program and paid time off.
Job DescriptionThis position contributes to the mission of CommonSpirit Health by ensuring that medical and pharmacy benefits are accurately provided and billed. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include:
- Communicating with patients regarding medical supplies and equipment needs
- Answering medical billing questions and resolving issues
- Researching insurance eligibility and coverage/benefits
