About the Role

Cepheid is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Virtual Territory Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for selling and renewing our products, systems, and services to customers in the Mid-Atlantic region, including North and South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their goals
  • Prospect new accounts and develop business plans to drive revenue growth
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and marketing, to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related healthcare sales experience, preferably in laboratory diagnostics, distribution, clinical laboratory, and/or life science markets
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments and collaborating with product managers, outside sales, and other stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a virtual environment, including video and phone calls, and various virtual technologies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Excel and Salesforce
  • Experience working in a remote environment
