Role Responsibilities

This full-time hybrid position involves working on a variety of projects related to roadway and bridge design, surveying, utility relocation coordination, and more. The ideal candidate will engage in:

  • Designing and implementing effective civil engineering solutions.
  • Conducting thorough inspections and assessments of bridges and roadways.
  • Coordinating utility designs and managing right-of-way acquisitions.
  • Collaborating with team members and clients to ensure project success.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in civil engineering design, particularly in roadway and bridge projects.
  • A valid Professional Engineering License.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering design.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Project management expertise, particularly in overseeing projects from conception to completion.
  • Ability to manage and mentor junior engineers and support staff.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with engineering standards and guidelines such as the AASHTO Green Book and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices is preferred.
