About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineering Lead to join our team at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC). As a key member of our Land Development Sector, you will be responsible for managing project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and energy clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project teams to develop land development plans
  • Review and mentor junior engineers on design aspects, including site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, and utilities
  • Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Mentor and supervise junior engineers to develop their skills and expertise
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience working in the Land Development Sector
  • BS/MS in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.)
  • Ability to speak and write professionally
  • Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Excel, Word, and other computer modeling software
  • Local connections with developers, architects, energy clients, or other land development arenas
